Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Ms Candith Mashego-Dlamini received a courtesy call from the non-resident Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Amb Batyr Rejepov Durdymuratovich on 12 August 2022.

H.E. Mr. Batyr Rejepov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan is the Ambassador of Turkmenistan  to the Republic of Kazakhstan and was appointed for the first time in the history of Ambassador of Turkmenistan to South Africa as non-resident Ambassador on 17 October 2021 with residence in Nur-Sultan.

H.E. Batyr Rejepov of Turkmenistan presented his Letter of Credence to H.E. Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, on 11 August 2022.
