SOUTH ARICA – UAE BUSINESS FORUM
In his opening remark to a full capacity venue, said it gave him pleasure to welcome all the distinguished guests to the 2019 South Africa – UAE Business Forum. It is a significant year, as it marked the 25 years since the beginning of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
"I am proud to note that South Africa’s relations with the United Arab Emirates have progressed positively over the years and are now at a more advanced stage than they’ve historically been before. At the outset of relations, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Excellency former President Nelson Mandela both professed the same goal: mutual cooperation which would enhance the prosperity and well-being of both countries and its peoples. We are proud to say today that both countries have worked hard to meet this objective." said His Excellency Ambassador Mahash Alhameli.
